Questions from partners

How much can I earn?
You earn 20% of the net amount (the price excluding 18% GST) of every payment a referred customer makes during their first 12 months. For example, a customer on the Pro plan at ₹1,999/month (incl. GST) earns you about ₹339 every month they stay subscribed, for up to 12 payments.
How does attribution work?
When someone clicks your link we remember it in their browser for 30 days. If they sign up in that window, they are permanently linked to you, and every payment they make in the 12 months after signup earns commission. Last click wins.
When do I get paid?
Each commission is pending for 30 days (our refund window), then it becomes approved. Once your approved balance is ₹1,000 or more, request a payout from your dashboard. We process requests monthly by UPI or bank transfer (NEFT/IMPS) in INR.
Is TDS deducted?
Yes. Affiliate commission is taxed as commission under section 194H of the Income-tax Act. We deduct TDS at 2% when you provide a valid PAN, or 20% without a PAN (section 206AA). TDS is deposited against your PAN, shows in your Form 26AS, and we issue Form 16A every quarter. If you are GST-registered, contact us to raise a GST invoice for your commission.
What about refunds and chargebacks?
If a referred customer’s payment is refunded or charged back, the commission on that payment is reversed. Because commissions only become payable after the 30-day refund window, this rarely affects money you have already received.
Can I refer myself, my team or my own company?
No. Purchases by you, by anyone in a workspace you belong to, or by accounts created from the same network as yours are not eligible. See the programme terms.
Can I run ads?
You can promote InstaStudio in your own content, social posts and paid social ads that send traffic to your own content. You may not bid on “InstaStudio” or close variations in Google/Bing search ads, or impersonate us.
I already use the credit referral link. What changes?
Once you are an approved affiliate, the same link earns cash instead of credits. Customers you refer still get their signup bonus. If you are not approved, your credit referrals keep working as before.
Do you need my full bank account number?
No. We only store your UPI ID, or the account holder name, IFSC and the last 4 digits. Before your first bank payout, our team confirms the full account number with you directly by email from our official support address. We will never ask for your OTP, UPI PIN or password.
